Four companies combined products and creative and technical skills to create fullcycle
production and post production workflow

Combined workflow is the sign of the future!

Los Angeles, California -- June 19, 2008 – Today Gamma & Density, Panavision , da Vinci and Moden VideoFilm, announced that they will join forces to host Straight Forward, a master class seminar, which will present a full-cycle production and post production digital workflow.

The Gamma & Density Co. combined these company’s products and services along with their creative and technical skills to be the first full-cycle workflow - from the set to post. Gamma & Density's 3cP, Panavision’s Genesis, da Vinci’s Resolve/2K and Modern VideoFilm’s customized procedures were brought together with the ASC CDL.

The use of the American Society of Cinematographers Color Decision List (ASC CDL) functionality for the cross-platform exchange of primary RGB and saturation color correction data on a big-budget film – “cemented and glued” all color data of the upcoming feature "State of Play" starring Ben Affleck, Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren.

At Cinegear 2008 in the Panavision Woodland Hills office, they will demonstrate this new digital workflow, which DP Rodrigo Prieto (ASC. AMC) was undertaking on the film to keep color consistent across shooting, dailies, post and DI.

This alliance is the first of its kind. It has opened creative, technical and production opportunities in the new, “brave”, ever- changing world of digital movie-making.
